Hi, I'm Amanda - a Fused Glass Artist in Hampshire
I'm the glass artist behind Fusion Art Glasswork, creating colourful fused glass art from my studio on Hayling Island in Hampshire. Inspired by the coast and the natural world, I create original artwork, meaningful memorial pieces and personal commissions, as well as welcoming people into my studio for fused glass workshops.
Every piece is designed and handmade by me in my Hayling Island studio.

My journey with glass
I discovered fused glass in 2022 and was completely hooked by the possibilities of working with such a beautiful and unpredictable material. What started as something I simply loved doing quickly became a much bigger part of my life, and Fusion Art Glasswork grew from there.
Since then, I've continued to develop my skills through specialist courses and masterclasses, while developing a style of my own. Living and working on Hayling Island means the coast is never far away, and the sea, shoreline and natural world have become a huge influence on my work.
Today, my work ranges from coastal and marine-inspired pieces to individual commissions and memorial glass, alongside the workshops I run from my studio.
Behind the scenes
Fusion Art Glasswork isn't entirely a one-woman operation!
My husband Luc is very much part of things behind the scenes. He does all my framing and makes the wooden stands for my glass pieces and if you come along to one of my workshops, you may also meet him in his other important role - resident barista and maker of the workshop coffees!

A little more about my work as a Fused Glass Artist in Hampshire

Specialist training
I continue to develop my skills through specialist courses and masterclasses, including training with glass artist Claire Hall and a number of day and residential masterclasses with Jo Downs.

Exhibitions and galleries
My work has been exhibited and sold through galleries, exhibitions and art events, including the Hayling Island Arts Trail, Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, Newtown House Hotel, Mine 59 and Sage and Salt, where I'm a resident artist.

Made on Hayling Island
Every piece is designed and handmade in my studio on Hayling Island. Living by the coast provides endless inspiration, from the colours and movement of the sea to the wildlife and landscapes around me.
