Four Panel Fused Glass Lantern

Workshop Details

During the session, you’ll design and make four individual glass panels to fit into your lantern. You can choose your own theme and colours – perhaps a colourful wildflower meadow, a coastal scene, something seasonal, or a completely different design of your own. I’ll guide you through the process and show you how to cut and layer glass and use frit, stringers and other decorative glass elements to bring your designs to life. No previous glass experience is needed, so the workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who have worked with fused glass before. Once finished, your four panels will be fired in my kiln and fitted into your lantern, ready for you to collect at a later date. With a maximum of just three people, you’ll have plenty of individual guidance and time to enjoy creating your lantern without feeling rushed. The workshop lasts approximately four hours, and all materials and refreshments are included.
